The ‘Blissful’ stand
I like each of these plates for different reasons. Top plate has a great eucalyptus flower graphic – the colourings of the middle plate with the lovely autumn leaves goes so well with the bottom plate of art deco patterning. The crochet doily was made by the late ‘Mrs Brooks’, a very sweet elderly lady who had a magnificent Christmas bush in her front yard that her father planted in the early 1900’s. The other plates in the photo are recent finds and are ready to be ‘drilled’.
Top: Sovereign Pottery, Middle: Winterton Longton and Bottom: Unmarked, but is numbered (very very old!)
