Art Deco Stand with 70’s Orange jars

Today was ‘Portuguese Tart’ Day. I teach Art Therapy to some lovely elderly ladies and we served these up on an Art Deco Stand.
They didnt last long! For some reason I think they taste even better served up on a 3 tier stand – much like drinking tea from a tea cup is better tasting than a mug.

Aerial View of Good Lookin’ Cake stands!

I really like this photo – it was taken quickly for a client, but I had to post it as it is just a cool aerial shot!
There are some sweet and very old plates in this group!

Pretty stand using plates over 100 years old!

Well I was very excited when I spotted 6 of these plates last week. I knew that they were old. I could tell by the embossing, the thickness and the style of the floral pattern. The trademark stamp at back showed ‘STOKE-ON-TRENT STAFFORDSHIRE ENGLAND’ in an intricate circular stamp pattern…and what was most exciting was that they are over 100 years old. The stamp at back is c. 1891 – 1900. They are in PERFECT condition! Unbelievable.
